Banana Bread

My recipe modified from Betty Crocker's
Course Bread
Servings 2 loaves

Equipment

  • 2 Loaf pans 8x4x2 Or one large pan 9x5x3

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 3 1/2 Teasoons Baking Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 1/3 Cup Milk
  • 1 1/4 Cups Bananas, mashed (2-3 medium)
  • 1 Cup Walnuts, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Prepare pans by greasing bottom only or lining with parchment.
  • Mix ingredients in order, mixing well after each ingredient. Pour into pans.
  • Bake for 55 to 60 minutes until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Cool slightly. Loosen and remove from pan.
  • Can be frozen.
