Praline Candy Bars

Joey likes these. Sweet and carmelly (a grandma word).

Equipment

  • 1 13 x 9 baking dish

Ingredients
  

  • 1⅔ Cup Flour
  • Cup Brown sugar, packed
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ Cup Butter, soften
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk
  • ¾ Teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • ¼ Teaspoon Salt
  • ½ Cup Broken pecans (Optional)

Praline Frosting

  • ½ Cup Brown sugar, packed
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Milk
  • ½ Cup Powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Grease pan with butter.
  • Mix all ingredients except pecans together on low speed for 2 minutes.
  • Spread into greased 13 x 9 pan.
  • Sprinkle with pecans.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until light golden brown.
  • Cool. Drizzle with frosting.

Frosting

  • Melt together brown sugar, butter and milk.
  • Stir in powdered sugar until smooth.
